The RNARS is fortunate to have a number of world wide volunteers who run and manage the Society's QSL Bureau. Members wishing to make use of this facility are asked to observe the guidelines below. If you have any questions, please direct them to your respective manager, help them to help you. Aim of the Bureau 1. To enable efficient exchange of QSL cards between members of the RNARS, RSARS and RAFARS. 2. To enable the efficient exchange of QSL cards to members only, and to the equivalent societies of the following countries: VK, VE, DL, ON, PA, W and ZL. Cards are also accepted from FISTS. Please note cards will not be accepted from any non-members or non-members of the equivalent societies in the above countries. These cards must go via the RSGB. Procedure Please put RNARS number (or RSARS, RAFARS, etc) on the reverse of the card, and sort in numerical order. Make sure the correct postage is applied. Remember no cards will be processed if they do not fit the criteria in 2 above, i.e. not in the equivalent societies. Membership of the Bureau only occurs when members lodge stamped self-addressed envelopes with the Bureau. Only use stamps that have no monetary value on them. They are the stamps sold in little booklets of six or twelve. This will mean no action will need to be taken when the postal rates change. It is suggested envelope size 6 x 5 inches or thereabouts. Cards will be sent out when the postal weight will be reached. If any member wishes cards sooner, please contact the QSL Bureau Manager. When the last envelope is sent to any member, it will be marked "Last". 3 months is allowed for members to supply the Bureau with fresh envelopes. If none are received, the member will be deleted from the Bureau. Any changes to the Bureau will be announced on the UK Sunday morning net. The Bureau List can be issued via arrangement with the QSL Bureau Manager. Lastly, any member who lapses from the society will cease to be a member of the Bureau. Many thanks in anticipation, Mike G0VIX
